FRANCO
Renato Carvalho Franco has over 40 years of experience in management, finance, corporate restructuring and M&A, and is the founding partner of Íntegra Associados.

Renato served as a Board Member of Parmalat Brazil during Íntegra’s restructuring engagement. He was also Vice Chairman of the Boards of Telemig and Tele Norte, a Board Member of Telet, Americel and Hopi Hari, and Chairman of TIW do Brasil.

Previously, Renato was Head of M&A at Bank of America in Brazil and M&A Superintendent at Unibanco. He also served as Finance Manager at Promon Tecnologia and as a Senior Auditor at Price Waterhouse.

Renato is a member and former Director of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and former Chairman and current Board Member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).

Renato holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management (USA), and has participated in executive seminars at Harvard Business School and London Business School since 2012. He has also served as a guest speaker on turnaround topics at universities in Brazil and abroad, including Insper, Sorbonne, Oxford and Columbia.

Walter Barbosa has over 40 years of professional experience as a C-level executive, Interim Manager and Operating Partner, leading initiatives focused on restructuring and corporate governance.

He has served as a Board Member in several national organizations. He acted as General Manager of Parmalat’s ice cream and franchising operations during Íntegra’s restructuring engagement. He also served as Interim Manager and Board Member at Globalbev, a food and beverage distributor, Valmari Dermocosméticos, and Renar Maçãs, a publicly traded agricultural company — all portfolio companies of Bratus Capital.

Previously, he was General Manager of Positrade, a U.S.-based distribution company, Corporate Director of Strategic Procurement at Abril, Chief Executive Officer of TVA Digisat, Consulting Manager at Andersen Consulting and a Consultant at AT Kearney.

Walter holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas.

DANIEL
CALORI
Daniel Calori works on financial restructuring, crisis management, corporate recovery and debt renegotiation projects, having participated in some of the most relevant restructuring cases in Brazil across different sectors.

He has 14 years of experience in business consulting, with additional experience leading organizational transformation and change management processes in highly complex environments.

Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (POLI-USP) and an MBA from London Business School, with a focus on Change Management

CALDAS
Luis Caldas works on financial restructuring, performance improvement and M&A projects, having advised large companies in the Food & Beverage, Industrial and Construction sectors, among others.

Previously, he worked in the Investment Banking division at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, participating in M&A transactions in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Services sectors. He also worked in the Cash Management area at Santander, structuring local and international solutions for mid-sized and large corporations, as well as creating and leading the Management Information System (MIS) function.

Luis is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, holds a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Escola de Engenharia Mauá and an MBA from the University of North Carolina, with a specialization in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

SAMY
WAKRAT
Samy Wakrat has been responsible for identifying, analyzing and leading projects across multiple sectors involving bankruptcy protection, turnaround and debt renegotiation. At Íntegra, he has been involved in some of the major restructuring cases in Brazil, including a large power generation company, leading auto parts manufacturers and several other projects in retail, railways, trading and sugarcane.

Samy also worked at HSBC as a Trainee, rotating through the Trading, Balance Sheet Management, Structured Operations and Treasury desks. Prior to joining HSBC, he worked in the Investment Strategy area at GPS Planejamento Financeiro, analyzing and assessing the performance of the funds in which the firm invested.

Samy holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval and Ocean Engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (POLI-USP).

MONIQUE
LEME
Monique Leme has over 24 years of experience in Human Resources as a business partner, manager and consultant in both national and multinational companies. She is a specialist across several strategic HR areas, including career management, performance, succession, competencies, potential assessment, leadership development, coaching, as well as hands-on experience in merger, acquisition, restructuring and process improvement initiatives.

She built her career in companies such as Folha de São Paulo, Avon, Editora Abril, Cia. Suzano, Bayer, Grupo Fleury, Gusmão e Labruni, KPMG and Indra. In 2014, she founded CodexRH, where she has served clients including Hitachi Group, Sasahara, Habitarte, MWCut and Grupo Alencar, SETIN Incorporadora, among others.

Monique holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a postgraduate degree in Business Administration, a specialization in Human Resources from Harvard University, and an Executive MBA in Human Resources from Universidade de São Paulo (USP/FIA). She also has international training in Integrated Coaching (ICI), MBTI certification from Saad Philipelli and certification in Competency-Based Interviewing (DDI).

Caio Ribeiro works on financial restructuring, performance improvement and M&A engagements, with experience across companies from multiple sectors, investment funds and real estate funds.

Previously, he worked as a consultant at KPMG Auditores Independentes, where he was involved in valuation, purchase price allocation (PPA) and impairment projects.

Caio holds a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, including an academic exchange at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Spain), and a postgraduate degree in Financial Engineering from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA).

Daniel Yoshida has 13 years of experience in performance improvement and restructuring projects, with exposure to sectors such as logistics, telecommunications, retail, aviation, banking and financial services, among others.

He has led initiatives focused on cost reduction, zero-based budgeting, financial and operational modeling, revenue maximization, strategic planning, organizational redesign, go-to-market (GTM) strategies and M&A. Previously, he worked at Galeazzi & Associados with a focus on performance improvement, as well as at companies such as Hamburg Süd and Goldman Sachs.

Giovanni Gancia works on financial restructuring, monitoring agent (watchdog) and performance improvement engagements, with experience across sectors such as retail, telecommunications, healthcare and agribusiness.

Previously, he worked at Deloitte, where he served as a Finance Manager in the Turnaround & Restructuring practice and as a Senior Analyst in Valuation Consulting, focusing on companies undergoing restructuring processes. He began his career at Opus Investimentos in the Wealth Management area.

Previously, she worked at Suzano S.A. in the Corporate Strategy and New Business areas, where she structured business models for the company’s new projects, including Biomas — an initiative dedicated to the restoration of 4 million hectares of native forests in Brazil that raised investments from major players.

For over 7 years, she has worked in the People and Management area at Íntegra, supporting projects focused on structuring HR processes, competency-based recruitment and selection, organizational culture, and people management support. She brings more than 30 years of experience in administrative management and in supporting Human Resources practices in both national and multinational corporate environments.

Throughout her professional career, she has worked at companies such as Bunge International, TIW do Brasil, and Íntegra Associados, contributing to the organization of internal people management processes, benefits administration, and team management support.

She holds a degree in Languages from Universidade São Francisco, has completed a Human Resources program at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and is certified in Competency-Based Recruitment and Selection by Integração Escola de Negócios.

BRENDIM
Pedro Brendim works on financial restructuring, performance improvement and M&A projects, with experience across sectors such as logistics, industrial machinery and car rental.

Previously, he worked at Focal Capital and 44 Capital as an M&A analyst on buy-side, sell-side and capital raising engagements, including the media-for-equity capital raise of health-tech Viva 10 with Grupo Jovem Pan, as well as developing financial modeling, due diligence and market outreach activities.

Pedro holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from FGV – EAESP and has passed the CFA Level I exam.

Thiago Gimaiel works on performance improvement and financial restructuring projects, with experience across sectors such as retail, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, marketing and technology.

Previously, he worked at Alvarez & Marsal, where he took part in high-impact strategic and operational initiatives, including operational efficiency programs, cost reduction, transformation office structuring, strategic planning, fraud mitigation and process optimization, as well as projects involving revenue growth management, pricing and go-to-market strategies.

Thiago holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and completed an academic exchange program at the University of Tennessee, USA

Victor Frioli works on financial, sector and market analyses, and is also involved in restructuring and corporate finance projects.

Previously, he worked at Banco Bradesco in the research and innovation area of inovabra, where he participated in the design, development and implementation of new business models, emerging technologies and financial products. He also joined the bank’s Wealth Management research and innovation team, structuring and leading new investment product initiatives.

Victor holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidade Federal de São Paulo (Unifesp), a master’s degree in Economics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp), and is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the same institution.
